Annie Boudreau - Taking Photos has Always Been Part of Who I Am

After much contemplation, I have changed my business name from Annie Bananie to Annie Boudreau.  It is very exciting to be signing my photographs with my given name..  I am proud of my Boudreau heritage and what it means to me.  To me it shows my Francophone, and Acadian routes.

My father loved photography and I now carry his torch.  I have had a camera in my hands, since I was sixteen years old.  At the age of twenty,  I worked at the Zellers Photolab in Ottawa.  I developed film photos in one of those big Kodak machines.  Later, I travelled through South East Asia and took boxes upon boxes of film photography.  Once my children arrived they became my subjects and later my daycare children.   In these last two years, I have decided to take  my photography to the next level.  Armoured with my 5d Mark 11, I am giving photo sessions to expectant mothers, newborns, babies and families.  I am having the time of my life. I am learning so much and working hard, but it doesn't feel like work. It feels like joy. Every photoshoot makes me happy! Seriously, I love taking photos, and the process of delivering prints, and products of babies and families fulfills me.

Thanks for checking in and if you are interested in a photo session, please contact me.
